Discover what it means to be an active citizen by casting your ballot at Brooklyn Children’s Museum Election Day at BCM features a competitive race between two fierce taxidermy objects from their Collection (candidate Koala Bear vs. candidate Seal Pup). Children will explore the concepts of citizenship, democracy and self-expression demonstrated through voting!
Casting your Ballot
11am – 4pm
Whose side are you on? Children will cast their vote for one of our taxidermy collection objects: candidate Koala Bear vs candidate Seal Pup. Voting will take place throughout the day, with an announcement at 4:15 to announce the winner of the election. At every hour we will be tallying the vote and announcing “exit poll” results.
