Learn how to paint faces in this fun and educational after school class. Studying the human face can seem intimidating at first but in this class, through a series of classical exercises, students will feel their confidence grow as their practice develops. Students will study compositions & poses, 3/4 views and non-traditional angles, and how to use perspective and mid-points to give subject face a realistic feel.
Course will start with preliminary drawing sketches to understand and get to know subjects before moving on to painting a realized facial portrait. Work in realism or abstract expressionistic portraits.
Class is offered as single day drop-ins or sign up for multi-week full course by selecting the start date from the registration calendar below.

Masks are mandatory to fully cover nose and mouth and must not be removed during your session.
