This course is ideal for advanced teens who have already taken the Beginner Anime & Manga Art Class or for students who are already familiar with the Manga Anime traditions, but eager to learn more to perfect their craft. Study in detail the human body or animal forms & anatomy in movement with skill and precision while exploring expression & character. Explore facial proportions: skin, hair, eye design. Anatomy- Torsos, hands, legs, feet and how to employ costume design.
Practice drawing & outline techniques, and explore dramatic backgrounds and scenes for characters to live in. Discover how to get the most out of micro pen techniques & applications for special effects to place characters within dynamic scenes to make them pop off the page or place them in a digital dreamscape (more experienced artists may also choose to work on tablets if they like). Students will be introduced to the techniques of storyboarding, incorporating narrative based on panel-to-panel storytelling. Returning students will be facilitated for & techniques polished.
Class is offered as single day drop-ins or sign up for multi-week full course by selecting the start date from the registration calendar below.

Masks are mandatory to fully cover nose and mouth and must not be removed during your session.
